We engaged Proactive Marine to repair our damaged propeller and check complete drive system after hitting a log on our 12m launch. James managed the whole job including sourcing a new prop and having  specialist Coy check the transmission.   His technical skill in repairing and aligning the drive train has resulted in enhanced performance - we reckon about 150 to 200 rpm for the same cruising speed of 16knots. We recently purchased a 1950s wooden launch, and James has been a huge asset in terms of both assessing the state of the engine prior to purchase, and completing some initial maintenance. James has been great at setting out different options for us to consider, including options to repair parts in some cases rather than replacing them.
